review rating 5  This is THE BEST Chinese food I’ve had in my life! The staff is extremely nice and helpful and the restaurant is clean. It’s always busy for a reason so I can not recommend this place enough!

I live right nearby and I love exploring their menu!

They call it "Chinese-Indian fusion," but all of their dishes taste completely different than anything I've ever had at a Chinese or Indian restaurant. I love Chili Pepper House because it's the only place I can find these unique flavours. They even have some Mongolian curries.

The inside of the restaurant is warm and inviting, very family-style with large tables.

Though personally I prefer to order takeout so I can make my own rice at home.

I like to order two dishes at a time for the variety. They are quite large, and re-heat well, so I can get around three meals that way, and pack myself lunches for work.

My personal favourites are the Mongolian prawns, and the Manchurian veggie balls (which taste very different than your standard Indian pakora).

One complaint, some of the veggie dishes have a lot of onion pieces which are not cooked as thoroughly as I would like.
